Home visits are also available to Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding area (Hatfield, Welwyn, Hertford etc).

Physiotherapy
First consultation 1 hour – £60
Treatments 1/2 hour – £45
Home visits 1 hour – £70
Hydrotherapy 1/2 hour – £50
You will be required to pay on the day of each treatment. Payment is by cash or cheque.
Each person is an individual and is treated according to their needs. Advice is given on appropriate exercises, joint care, posture and ergonomics.
The initial assessment is an hour long. It involves an initial discussion about your injury or problem. This will include questions about your general health and relevant past medical history.
This is followed by the assessment. You will receive appropriate treatment and advice regarding your problem and suggestions of what you may be able to do to help yourself.
Please arrive 5 minutes early in order to complete a general health questionnaire or download it by clicking the button below and bring it to your first appointment.
This will enable more time spent on the assessment and treatment of your condition.
Follow up treatments are half an hour long.
To be assessed thoroughly, you will be asked to undress appropriately. Depending on the area of the body to be assessed you may want to bring a pair of shorts and for woman a vest top.

Kate Whiteland is recognised by most major private medical insurers.
You will be asked to settle all accounts at the time of the treatment and will be provided with a receipt to claim back your money from your insurance companies. This is usually possible within 2-3 weeks. Any queries regarding this please speak to Kate.
You are kindly requested to give at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Failed attendance and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to payment in full.
