Your Physiotherapist - Kate Whiteland

Kate is a Masters qualified, Chartered State Registered Orthopaedic Physiotherapists with over 15 years of extensive experience in both NHS and the private sector. She is highly trained in the treatment of all sports injuries and musculo-skeletal disorders and is recognised by most Insurance companies.
Kate qualified in 1995 from Liverpool University with a Honours degree in Physiotherapy. She worked as a junior physiotherapist in Liverpool, at Fazakerley Hospital. She then specialised as an orthopaedic physiotherapist and worked at Luton and Dunstable hospital and then the Lister hospital in Stevenage, before commencing a year full time Masters Degree in Neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy, at the University College London in 2000.
She gained a Masters degree (MSc) and membership to the Manipulative Association for Physiotherapists (MMACP) in 2001.
Subsequently she has worked as a self-employed Orthopaedic Specialist in a Private Practise at the Orchard clinic in St. Albans. Kate has given lectures teaching and examining Masters Students at the University of Hertfordshire.
Kate has also trained to use acupuncture as an adjunct to treatment for pain relief. She is therefore a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapist (AACP)
Kate established Parkway Physiotherapy clinic in 1997 which she initially ran from Parkway general Practitioners Surgery in Welwyn Garden City. More recently the clinic has moved to it's current location in the Therapy Rooms in Natural Health.
